James Cook University is looking for a dynamic Executive to provide marketing support to our South Asia Team. 

This is a 24 months , Contract for Service position and candidate residing in South of India, preferably in Chennai are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and support student recruitment to increase the number of students and achieve targets
• Actively promote and support activities to enhances JCU's visibility in the region
• Maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders effectively
• Process applications; communicate with applicants and agents to ensure that they are duly completed as required
• Follow up on application outcomes regularly
• Liaise with Student Recruiters and highlight documents to complete the agents’ files
• Maintain the Approved Agents List
• Check Agents’ websites for updates and liaise with branding team to update website
• Liaise and work together with Admissions team for offer letters and student pass applications
• Liaise with applicants / agents for pending documents and fee payments
• Provide clerical and marketing support proactively
• Ensure the compliance to EduTrust in the recruitment activities performed
• Provide reports as required and maintain detailed records of a) Enrolment record sheet for the marketing region, b) Agent File Management, c) Agent Evaluation Track Record, d) Commissions record for all agents
• Plan, execute and participate in recruitment fairs/ seminars and events as assigned
• Complete ad-hoc job duties as assigned that are relevant

Key selection criteria 

• Passionate about International Education
• 5 years relevant experience in the same or a similar role, promoting Singapore as a Study Destination 
• Undergraduate degree from a University 
• Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders - applicants, agents, students - from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to complete tasks which are methodical and require high accuracy
• Ability to work in a diligent, organized, and proactive manner
• Ability to analyse and interpret information against a given set of criteria/ data
• Resident in South India, preferably in Chennai
• Contract for Service (Independent Contractor) role for 24 months
