Senior Executive Academic Planning (Psychology)

Course Planning and Delivery

  • Assist the Academic Head to manage the subject offering.
  • Work closely with the Academic Head to allocate teaching resources to planned timetables. Liaise, negotiate and confirm faculty deployment.
  • Ensure academic staff allocated to subjects are compliant with CPE requirements.
  • Maintain subject availability and contact hours to facilitate timetabling and contract generation.
  • Assign, manage and maintain electronic records across all systems.
  • Work closely with teams within the organization for effective delivery of academic programs.

School Administration

  • Provide administrative support to the Academic Head.
  • Proactively work to provide a high level of experience to all the stakeholders within the School.
  • Ensure all academic services comply with relevant standards, policies and procedures. 
  • Assist the school to plan and organize events. Work with relevant teams to promote the brand and build relations with external industry partners.
  • Propose and implement effective workflow to improve efficiency within the School.
  • Process relevant payable claims. 
  • Organize ad-hoc meetings among relevant teams.
  • Act as Minutes secretary for meetings (ad hoc).
  • Ensure agenda and minutes are appropriately filed.

Academic Planning Support

  • Assist the reporting officer in maintaining overall excellence for all applicable processes.
  • Act with integrity and maintain authenticity while carrying out tasks. Establish and maintain clear communication. Plan, execute and maintain accountability at all times. 
  • Draft proposals, provide recommendations and review existing processes for continuous improvements.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects that meet strategic and operational goals set by the University.
  • Assist team members in maintaining business continuity. 
  • Awareness or willing to learn the relevant standards like EduTrust GD4, APAC, ERF, etc would be an asset. Similarly, able to upskill and/or apply emerging tools and techniques to solve real world problems is beneficial.

Support for Fourth-Year Programs.

  • Provide liaison between 4th Year co-ordinator, Academic Head and relevant departments to the successful running of 4th year programs.
  • Generate a list of students eligible for 4th year programs.
  • Organize, facilitate and evaluate orientations for incoming 4th year students. Coordinate all the logistics requirements to ensure a successful orientation.
  • Plan and organize Fourth-year Student Conferences for each study period. Coordinate the event, which includes arranging facilities, preparing invites, and agenda for the event, managing posters, and arranging F&B for the event.
  • Create SONA accounts for students.

Key selection criteria

  • Preferably an undergraduate degree in any discipline.
  • Ensuring and documenting regulatory compliance in a relevant industry.
  • Experience in higher education would be an advantage.
  • Exceptional organisational, problem solving and administrative skills.
  • High level communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high quality documents, analyse data & create engaging presentations using Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  
  • Ensure clear communication among stakeholders, able to multitask and comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Zoom.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality to promote a positive reputation for the School and the University.

Monthly Remuneration: Up to SGD 3,800
