Assistant Manager Graphic Design

Contribute to enhancing the brand positioning of the Singapore campus of James Cook University and the achievement of student numbers by designing high-quality marketing collaterals 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Design brochures, banners, booklets, and other university publications to promote the university and its offering
  • Provide concept outlines for online materials used by the university and its web presence 
  • Provide a graphic design service for all print advertisements placed by the university
  • Conceptualize materials based on the design brief and work with recruitment teams on the best design graphics to support their campaigns  
  • Develop graphics for contents on various social media channels. 
  • Develop creatives as required for various internal use

  • Ensure that the university style guide is used as the basis for all advertising and promotion materials.  

  • Ensure that all designs are factually accurate and meet the relevant regulatory requirements. 

  • Provide photography and video service for JCU activities whenever required. 

  • Review on annual basis all marketing collaterals and assess their continued suitability. 

  • Ensure all activities accord with the university policies, procedures and practices. 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA 

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in graphic design  

  • Experience as a graphic design artist 

  • Experience with digital media as a form of  advertising and promotion  

  • Experience with the publications and printing process

    Able to work individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to work situations. 
  • Interest and passion in design

  • Comfortable with Mac platform and various software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, etc. 

  • Basic photography and videography (including editing) skills.

Monthly Remuneration: Up to SGD 4,500
