The JCU Singapore Business School is recruiting qualified candidates for Associate Educator positions in the following disciplines:
Economics
Banking & Finance
Tourism & Hospitality
Law (Familiar with Australian Law)
Accounting
Statistics
International Trade
Human Resource Management
Marketing

Job Scope:
These Associate Educator positions commence from May or September in 2025, or a suitable trimester in 2026. These positions offer the opportunity to assist a diverse group of international students in achieving their educational goals. The assignments include:
Teaching-related activities, such as preparing and delivering lectures or tutorials, designing and grading assessments, and providing student consultations, etc. The teaching assignment may average two subjects a trimester. The assignments mostly are during the daytime, but could be in the evening or weekend, and is subject to change as needed.
Participating in the shared governance process through work in normal professional activities, committee work, student activities, etc.
Bringing industry experience to students through arranging guest lectures or student field trip to industry partners.
Selection Criteria:
A Master’s degree or higher in the relevant disciplines
Possess industry currency and adapt at academic teaching rigour.
Affiliation with professional bodies is an added advantage.
Evidence of quality teaching and supervision of students at under- and postgraduate levels.
The ability to teach across a range of subjects at various levels.
While this role will emphasize teaching duties at first, active contribution to Research is welcome.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relations with colleagues in an academic environment and with people from diverse backgrounds.
Evidence of creating a superior student industry experience and engagement
Course coordination and subject development experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Agile with digital learning platforms and technologies.
Must be available to teach during the weekdays (9am - 7pm), preferably also be available to teach during evening (7pm-10pm)
Experience in teaching Accounting, Law, Economics, Banking & Finance, Tourism & Hospitality, Statistics is preferred
